PTSD Awareness Day is June 27th

In honor of PTSD Awareness Day, let’s explore what PTSD is and how to get support. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health condition that affects 1 out of 20 adults in the U.S. every year. Women are twice as likely as men to experience PTSD, which is highest in racialized communities. This day involves encouraging open talk about PTSD, learning about PTSD causes and symptoms, and, most importantly, accessing treatment and getting support.
